Kibale Tourist safari lodge is a boutique eco-tourism lodge in the Bigodi area near Kibale National Park. The lodge is located along the Fort Portal–Kamwenge road and overlooks Bigodi Swamp. The facility is about 10 minutes from the chimpanzee trekking booking office. The lodge’s location places it close to Kibale Forest National Park and the Bigodi community. Accommodation at Kibale Tourist safari lodge
Kibale Tourist safari lodge has 11 grass-thatched cottages, plus an additional room in the family unit. This gives the property 12 rooms in total. The cottages are spaced around the property to provide privacy. Accommodation includes double, twin and family arrangements. The family cottage can be arranged as a two-bedroom or three-bedroom unit. Five rooms can also be arranged with triple beds for families or groups.

How to access Kibale Tourist safari lodge
Kibale Tourist Safari Lodge is located along the Fort Portal–Kamwenge road. From Kampala, the journey normally takes around 5–6 hours by road. The route passes through Mityana, Mubende, Kyenjojo and Fort Portal before reaching the Kibale area. The lodge is close to Bigodi and the main chimpanzee trekking area, so transfers are relatively short once visitors reach the lodge.
