Day 1: Arrival and transfer to your Hotel
Upon arrival you will be picked from the airport and then transfer to your Hotel for rest. Overnight at Boma Hotel Entebbe / Forest Resort Lweza
Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
After a cup of coffee, begin your day’s trip to Murchison via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking. The 166 KM trip to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary takes 2 to 3 hours drive. The sanctuary is a 70 Square Km hosting at least 48 Southern White rhinoceros, zebras and giraffes, reptiles such as crocodiles and tortoise, and birds including the most sought after shoebill, etc.
Later in the day proceed to the Top of Murchison Falls. An hour hiking to the different spots can suffice. Here Murchison Falls, believed to be one of the most powerful in the world, is formed as the Victoria Nile water forces its way through the narrow 8- Metre – wide gorge; before plunging into the “Devil’s Cauldron” below, forming a thunderous roar and a permanent rainbow mist.

In the evening retire at the lodge for a comfortable stay. Dinner and overnight at Pakuba Safari Lodge / Paraa Safari Lodge.
Day 3: Game drive in Murchison Falls National Park especially along the 170 Km Buligi tracks, offering riverine habitats, savanna and woodland habitats with different mammal species including buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, etc.
In the afternoon undertake a 3 hours upstream boat cruise to the bottom of the Falls. Expect to see crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, birds, etc.
Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest
Get your early morning breakfast and exit Muchison Falls national park via Hoima towards Fort Portal where you expect some good lunch. The drive distance between Murchison Falls and Fort Portal is approximately 385 Km ( 6 to 7 hours drive). The scenic drive along the Butiaba escarpment, part of the Western Rift Valley is now a good motorable route with great views of Lake Albert. Overnight stay at Chimpundu Lodge / Tabebuia Safari Lodge / Kibale Tourist Safari Lodge
Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking
With over 1500 chimps and thus a 99% sightings rate, Kibale Forest is the best destination for chimpanzee tracking. The 13 primate species including L’hoest monkeys, black-and-white colobus, red colobus, and grey-cheeked mangabey are very common in this dense forest canopy.
At either 8:00 am, 11:00 am or 2:00 PM, a guided chimpanzee walk begins from the Kanyanchu Visitor Centre. Normally the walk takes between 2 to 5 hours depending on the movements of the chimps in the wilderness. When visitors encounter the chimps, they are allowed at least an hour in their presence observing their playing antics, feeding and interactions. After lunch at the lodge you have an option of the Bigodi nature and community walk or simply transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park. This a 2 to 3 hours drive taking the route close to Ndali and Papaya Safari lodges. Dinner and overnight stay at ParkView Safari Lodge / Katara Lodge / Enganzi Game Lodge
Day 6: Game drive and Kazinga channel boat cruise
After an early morning breakfast, undertake a morning game drive to the Kasenyi area expecting to view early morning predators such as leopards, and lions, different antelope species, buffaloes, elephants, hippos, warthogs, waterbucks, etc. For birders, Queen Elizabeth national park is a birders’ paradise with over 606 species including a variety of migratory and Albertine Rift Endemics. In the afternoon, at 14:00 hrs you will walk down to the Kazinga Channel for a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel between lakes Edward and George. This is the best place to see a cross section of all the wildlife in this park. Dinner and overnight at ParkView Safari Lodge / Katara Lodge / Enganzi Game Lodge
Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi National park.
In the morning, you will set off to Bwindi National park passing via Ishasha sector where you will view the famous tree-climbing lions. Continue and have picnic lunch en route, arriving in Bwindi in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp.
Day 8: Gorilla Tracking & Community Visit- Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
This morning you will have to wake up very early to get ready for Gorilla tracking. Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. There are always park guides with you who interpret the flora and fauna and the lifestyle of the Gorillas. Dinner and overnight at Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp / Mahogany Springs / Bakiga Lodge
Day 9: Batwa community Visit in Buhoma
This day can be dedicated to a Batwa community walk or simply transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for a boat cruise experience along the second deepest lake in Africa.
Day 10: Depart Bwindi for Entebbe
After breakfast transfer for your international flight to Entebbe from Kihihi at 09:45am arriving at 11:25am at Entebbe International airport. You may take a shorter route to Kigali for your international flight.
