You will arrive at Entebbe international airport very early in the morning, meet your driver guide from our company and transfer to Kajjansi airstrip. Board a domestic flight to Kihihi/Kisoro airstrip from where you will drive to the respective park headquarters in Bwindi Forest or Mgahinga Gorilla National Parks. You must be at the park headquarters by 7:00am for registration and briefing about the rules and regulations of gorilla trekking in Uganda. You will be put together in-group of eight each allocated a gorilla group to trek. The hike to see mountain gorillas starts at 8:00am and it may last between 30 minutes to over 7 hours depending on where mountain gorillas will be that day and their speed of movements. After meeting the gorilla family, you will spend an hour in their presence the one-hour with gorillas is counted from the time you set your eyes on the gorillas. As soon as you see the gorillas, the ranger guide sets the clock and the interaction with last for an hour strictly. This is the time to hold your cameras tight, keep calm and take as many pictures as possible.
