UGANDA SAFARI - 6 DAYS GORILLA WILDLIFE TOUR

 

Day 1- Arrival at Entebbe International Airport         
On arrival at the Airport, you will be received by our tour guide who will transfer you to the Imperial Botanical Beach hotel. 

Day 2- Wildlife Safari in Lake Mburo National Park     

Early, in the morning, transfer by road to Lake Mburo National Park. Make a stop-over at the Equator and buy yourself handicrafts and taking photographs. Have lunch en route at Lyantonde and arrive in the park at 2.00 pm local time for an afternoon guided nature walk. A walk to the salt lick area will offer you an opportunity to view different animal species licking salt at the same time. Lake Mburo national park is an extension of the northern Tanzanian savannah plains with a high concentration of savannah related animal species such as the buffaloes, elands, zebras, impalas, and other ungulates. For birders the park is an excellent ground for birding viewing. Birds such as African Fin Foot, papyrus Gonolek, Papyrus bush shrike, etc. are common.
Have a dinner and an overnight at Mantana Tented Camp (Luxury)/ Rwonyo Camp (budget)

Day 3: Wildlife Tour - Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast take a guided nature walk in anticipation of savannah wildlife that you may have not seen have the previous day. Drive to Lake Mburo for a boat cruise and enjoy viewing aquatic life that include, among others, crocodiles, hippos, and a variety of birds. At night enjoy a camp fire at Mantana Tented Camp, a dinner and an overnight.

Day 4 Lake Mburo NP to Bwindi Gorilla Park
 After breakfast and a morning game drive in Mburo Lake national park transfer to Bwindi impenetrable Forest National park en route traversing the Kigezi Highlands, with the Virunga peak in the horizon, commonly referred to as the Switzerland of Africa. You will access the Gorilla Rest Camp in the evening for your dinner and overnight on full board basis.Have a dinner and an overnight at Gorilla Resort/Buhoma Community Bandas (FB)

Day 5 - Transfer back to  Kampala          
After breakfast transfer back to Kampala with lunch in Lyantonde. En route make a stop-over at the Equator for shopping souvenirs for yourself and arrive in Kampala in the early evening for a city tour. Have dinner and overnight at Speke Hotel or similar other on full board basis.

Day 6  - End of the gorilla safari     
After breakfast, depending on your flight schedule our safari guide will transfer you to the airport for your flight back to your home.
